Get Completely Clean in a Steam-Shower-Sauna

A steam room, a shower and a sauna take up quite a bit of space. A space-saving design is the steam-shower-sauna that replaces three separate units and comes in a compact unit that will get you completely clean. You may wonder about the difference between a sauna and steam room. Do you really need both, or are they essentially the same?

Saunas and steam rooms are quite different when it comes to temperatures and humidity levels. A typical dry heat sauna has an inside temperate of 180 – 190 degrees F and a humidity level of 10 – 30%. You can create steam by pouring water over heated rocks on top of the sauna room heater, but the steamy conditions are only temporary. The sweating session is usually followed by a cool-off period that involves taking a shower or swimming in a lake.

A steam room, on the other hand, operates at a temperature of around 110 degrees F and a humidity level of close to 100%. The high humidity requires a different approach in construction. Walls and ceiling are made from tile, marble and acrylic. Fixtures are made from stainless steel. Whereas saunas use a heater and do not require plumbing (except for a separate shower), steam rooms require a steam generator and a hot water supply.

A combination of a sauna steam room bath and shower lets the user enjoy the different benefits of high heat/low humidity saunas and the lower heat/high humidity of steam rooms in a unit that also includes a convenient shower for rinsing off after your sweating or steaming session. The unit includes an electric heater and the generator, shower head, built-in jets and electronic controls. This all-in-one unit will make a big difference in your family’s way of life and is the perfect solution to get you completely clean.
