needed to complete your installation.
Difference between Pre-cut Kits and Pre-Built Saunas
Make sure you know the difference between
precut sauna kits and pre-built
modular sauna rooms. Prebuilt or prefabricated home saunas are
self-contained, freestanding units. Pre-cut kits are made for converting an
existing room into a sauna. You will need to build an insulated frame to
install the kit if you dont have a suitably-sized area available.
Do You Want to Build Indoors or Outdoors?

saunas can be installed indoors or outdoors. You can assemble the sauna
room inside on a waterproof surface such as tile, concrete or linoleum. A
poured concrete pad is best for an outdoor installation. Precut or
custom-cut roofs are available to convert an inside sauna into an outdoor
sauna. Application of a water sealant to the exterior wood is required to
protect the walls from the elements.
Heater Options
Your pre-built sauna material package will most likely include a
properly-sized electric sauna room heater.
You will need an electrician to wire the heater. Alternatively, you can
choose a wood-burning heater or purchase one of the new
infrared saunas that come with ceramic
heating elements built directly into the walls. Make sure you know all your
options before purchasing a prebuilt or precut sauna kit.
