Hot Tubs and Saunas
Hot Tubs and Saunas Make a Great Combination
Hot tubs and saunas have three things in common: the
beneficial heat, the relaxation and the social aspects. Relaxing with your
loved one or family in a home spa or sauna cabin is quality time spent
together and beats sitting in front of the TV. If you already own either a
portable hottub or a sauna, consider setting up both in your backyard. As
you will see, home spas, hot tubs and saunas compliment each other
perfectly.
Setting up a combination hottub sauna spa has the advantage of being able to
cool off after your sweating session. Just leave the hot tub heater off
because you want to cool off in cold water after you come out of the sauna.
A cold shower can also provide relief, but jumping into a cold pool or spa
will refresh you immediately and you’re ready for another session.
Be creative in setting up your sauna, hottub or home spa. If you already own
an indoor portable home spa or hot tub you can install a small
2-person infrared sauna nearby. A 4’ x 4’
area is all that is needed. You can build these saunas yourself and save a
substantial amount of money by purchasing a
precut sauna kit. Another option is to go with
pre-built modular saunas that
can be assembled in just a few hours.
If you want to create an authentic Finnish sauna experience think outdoor
saunas. There are numerous designs and plans available that will give you
ideas on how to build an indoor or
outdoor family sauna. If you are a pool or outdoor hot tub owner, the
sauna will perfectly compliment the hottub or in-ground swimming pool and
turn it into a unique home spa you’ll be proud of.
